The first release of the Black Rock Crafted range was this American Pale Ale. Crafted series kits use specialty malts and extra hop additions to create beer recipes that really stand out from other malt extract kits. The Black Rock APA has US Cascade hop pellets added at canning to infuse their grapefruit aromas in the extract, made from ale, caramalt, and lager malts.

Brew with our Unhopped Ultra-Light, or combine 2 cans of APA for a more powerful hop aroma and bitterness.

Black Rock Miners Stout is a rich, dark, smooth Stout. Brewed with four specialty malts Black Rock Miners Stout is a rewarding, balanced beer with a moderate bitterness to balance the roasted malt flavours.

Black Rock Pilsener Blonde is a blonde coloured, classic European Pilsner with a clean, fresh finish.

Black Rock Whispering Wheat is a golden wheat beer with a fruity flavour. This refreshing, lively beer has been brewed with 52.8% New Zealand wheat and 47.2% Pilsner malt. NZ Green Bullet and Pacific Gem hops are added at the boil to provide a moderate bitterness to this concentrated brewery wort.

Black Rock Nut Brown Ale is a malty, amber coloured beer with a balanced harmony of Crystal and Black malt and hops to create a full-bodied, malt accented flavour.

Black Rock Crafted IPA is brewed with Caramalt and Roasted specialty malts for a typical IPA bitterness and pale brown colour. NZ Green Bullet and Pacific Gem hops are added at the boil to provide a moderate-strong bitterness. The wort is dry-hopped to infuse the citrus and subtle floral aromas of Wakatu hops into the final beer. **Two cans of this are needed for a 23L Brew
