Here's an Irish Export Stout with a twist. Many Irish migrants settled in America so we put USA hops on a traditional Export Stout recipe. Chinook and Amarillo hops when dry hopped together give a subtle orange note which works so well with the chocolate and spicey malt bill. Enjoy
This recipe is a great Dry Irish Stout perfect to drink around St Patrick's Day. The most popular commercial Dry Irish Stout is Guinness and if you enjoy a pint or two of Guinness then you'll love this simple recipe.
A new Summer Drop using the new Hort 4337 Trial Hop and Pacifica.
These two hops work well together. Expect aromas of tropical fruit and stonefruit (pineapple, nectarine, passionfruit and citrus) and a subtle orange marmalade flavour from the Pacifica Hops.
Contributing editor for Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine, Dave Carpenters homebrew recipe is inspired by weekend brunch. What began as an experimental oat-based pale ale evolved into the perfect ingredient in a brunchtime beermosa.
With Mosaic and Citra in short supply late in the season we went hunting for a new Hazy recipe that wasn't using these hops. We found a great recipe out of Chicago in the USA and we tweeked this to fit available malts here in NZ.
This recipe has been adapted from an American Magazine and was originally provided from the Brewer at an award winning USA Brewery. We had to tweak the recipe a little to match some of the malts and hops and we scaled it to 23L. Buts its still a great Hazy and Juicy IPA full of orange citrus and tropical fruit.
We wanted a nice Sessionable beer to test the new Lemondrop Hops and this one came out stunning. You can pick up the lemon citrus but not sickly like some Radler or Shandy. This hop is similar to US Cascade and Centennial but with more lemon notes. Simply an awesome sessionable summer beer. Enjoy 3-4 after mowing the lawns.
There's nothing more spooky than a beer that messes with your senses. At first glance this looks like a heavy stout but its actually a tropical and citrussy IPA. This is a stunning IPA full of new world hop flavours. The perfect beer for Friday 13th.
Four amazing hops make up this juicy, hazy APA. Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Simcoe. The juicy tropical fruit flavours dance with the full bodied malt bill to create one stunning and memorable beer. Enjoy a couple of glasses and you'll know you're in for a good night!
