This blend consists of over 50% wheat malt. Ideal in a light beer to give subtle fruity, bread-like characteristics and smooth texture to the head. Also can be used with darker style beers.

Black Rock New Zealand Company Bitter is a rich full-bodied, brown beer for beer drinkers who like the strong taste of a real beer. This beer is similar to an English Best Bitter. This stronger-tasting beer is both satisfying and thirst-quenching with full-bodied malt character from the Crystal.

Pale Ale is a moderately bittered, refreshing straw coloured ale. Supplemented with enhancing malts and wheat to produce a beautifully balanced beer. Best when dry hopped with your favourite aromatic varieties.

A classic IPA with punchy bitterness and biscuity malt character. Predominantly ale malt but with wheat for head retention, toffee and a small amount of crystal this will satisfy the IPA lovers taste buds every time. Can produce a range of West Coast, NZIPA, APA by experimenting with dry hops.

Golden Ale has a balanced malt backbone, is bright, crisp, with an additional wheat which will provide a stable creamy foam. This this malt base is ideal for summer or pacific style ales.

Gold in appearance with a lacey head, the aroma of light malts is pleasant, and the body has good malt weight. A refreshing lager with good maltiness and moderate bitterness on the finish, quaffable and refreshing

Black Rock Unhopped Amber malt extract adds a rich caramel flavour and smooth residual malt sweetness to any beer. Lager malt is mixed with a crystal and a touch of black malt to create this concentrated wort. Use Black Rock Amber to produce all kinds of beers from dark lagers, bocks and scotch ales to stouts, porters and brown ales.

Brewed with 100% Pilsner malt for increased fermentability and a drier more attenuated beer. This very pale malt (5 EBC, 3 SRM) is ideal for blonde beers, dry lagers and related styles.
